Buy plywood online

Buy plywood online in Gurgaon with 60-minute delivery

Order commercial, BWR, and marine plywood, block boards, MDF, particle boards, and decorative laminates and get them across Gurgaon in under 60 minutes — one sheet for a shelf or a full load for a modular kitchen. The grade and thickness of the board decides how long the furniture lasts, so getting the right sheet delivered fast, to the site or the carpenter's workshop, matters more than it looks.

Plywood is heavy, awkward to transport, and easy to mis-order. With doorstep delivery and no minimum order, you get exactly what the job needs without hiring a tempo or making a second trip to the lumber market.

What types of plywood and boards are available?

Boards differ mainly in how well they resist moisture, which is what decides where each belongs. Standard sheets come in 8x4, 7x4, and 6x4 ft sizes (an 8x4 sheet is 2440 x 1220 mm) and thicknesses from 4mm to 19mm:

  • Commercial plywood (MR grade, IS:303) — moisture-resistant, for general interior furniture in dry areas.
  • BWR plywood (boiling water resistant, IS:710) — for kitchens and damp-prone areas.
  • Marine plywood (BWP grade) — the safest choice for direct or prolonged water exposure.
  • Block boards, MDF, and particle boards — for shutters, panelling, and cost-sensitive work.
  • Decorative laminates — woodgrains, textures, and solid colours for finishing surfaces.

Which plywood grade should you use?

Match the grade to the moisture the furniture will face — that one choice separates a wardrobe that lasts a decade from one that swells in a few monsoons. Use BWR (IS:710) for kitchen cabinets, where steam and splashes are constant; marine-grade (BWP) for direct water exposure; and economical MR-grade (IS:303) commercial ply for dry interior furniture like bookshelves and display units.

A buyer's gotcha: a sheet stamped 'BWR' that isn't will look identical until it fails, so always check the IS grade and brand stamp on the edge. Thickness matters too — too thin and shelves sag, too thick and you pay for dead weight. Our how to pick plywood thickness guide helps you choose per application.

Which plywood and laminate brands are available?

All sourced from authorised dealers with genuine ISI certification:

  • CenturyPly and Greenply — India's leading plywood brands.
  • Kitply, Sarda Plywood, and National — reliable, widely-used options.
  • Merino, Greenlam, and Century — decorative laminates, veneers, and pre-laminated boards.

Veneers and pre-laminated boards are available on request, so a carpenter can spec the structural ply and the finish surface from one order. A practical note on laminates: the common 1mm grade suits cabinet shutters and vertical surfaces, while thicker 1.5mm post-forming or high-wear grades are better for tabletops and counters that take daily abuse — matching the laminate grade to the surface saves on early wear and re-lamination.

How do you know the plywood is genuine?

Every sheet we deliver is sourced from authorised brand distributors with genuine ISI certificationIS:303 for MR grade and IS:710 for BWR/BWP — so the board delivers the strength and water resistance its label claims. Plywood is one of the easiest materials to misrepresent, which is exactly why buying from an authorised channel with the correct IS stamp matters. A buyer's check at delivery: a genuine sheet feels uniformly heavy with no hollow patches, shows tight, gap-free core layers along the cut edge, and carries the brand and IS grade stamped on the face — soft, light boards with visible core gaps are the tell-tale of an under-grade sheet. What plywood do you need for a kitchen or wardrobe?

For a modular kitchen, use BWR ply for the carcass and shutters; for a wardrobe, MR-grade ply is usually fine except around any wet wall. The base unit under the sink is the one spot in a kitchen where it's worth stepping up to marine grade, since it takes the brunt of any leak. Whether you're a homeowner ordering one sheet or a carpenter loading up a full kitchen, the same range and fast delivery apply. Plan the whole material list in advance — structural ply, laminates, and the channels & hardware and adhesives that go with them — and have it delivered stage by stage instead of stockpiling boards that warp while they wait.

Where do you deliver plywood in Gurgaon?

We deliver plywood, boards, and laminates across all of Gurgaon — DLF Phases, Golf Course Road, Sohna Road, MG Road, Cyber City, Palam Vihar, Dwarka Expressway, and every sector — in under 60 minutes. Full 8x4 sheets won't fit in a car and chip at the edges if badly handled, so doorstep delivery takes that whole problem off your plate, arriving flat and undamaged to a workshop or flat. A typical case: a carpenter building a wardrobe on Sohna Road realises he's a sheet short of BWR ply for the shutters — rather than down tools and arrange a tempo, the sheet reaches the site within the hour. Order on the HandyPanda app or WhatsApp, and tell us the application so we can confirm the right grade and thickness.
